Including category if your IQ? Low, medium or high? Be careful when including the high category. That's because women who have high IQs tend to be more at risk known to use psychotropic substances at age 30.

Psychotropic substances including cocaine, ecstasy and marijuana. According to research by a team from Cardiff University, UK, women who have a high IQ twice as likely to use psychotropic substances at age 30, compared to women who have an average IQ.

Doctoral James from Cardiff University analyzed the records of 8,000 people in the 1970s, which his IQ scores obtained when they were aged five and 10 years. They were also asked to answer questions about substance use psikotoprika, at the age of 16 and 30 years.

The study, published in the Journal of Epidemiology and Community Health, found that women aged 30 years and IQ scores above the average, between 107 to 150, more likely to use psychotropic substances. In comparison, women who have an IQ of 100 or less than 95.

Then, men with high IQ score of 50 percent more likely to use amphetamines, ecstasy and other illicit drugs. This is when compared to men who have an IQ average or low.

"If we can speculate, this could be because people with high IQs tend to be more open to new experiences. They also tend to think that if you do it once or twice would be risky," said Dr.. White.
