Men Changed After So Dad is Better



The presence of a child in married life not only bring happiness, but also cause drastic changes in lifestyle parents.

Becoming a father for the first time can make a man away from their addiction to cigarettes, liquor, and even crime. As reported by the Daily Mail, this study reveals that the nature of fatherhood can curb their bad behavior. Fathers in their 20s or 30s would be more mature than their younger and single.

The researchers from the U.S., said the survey results, especially for older men, tend to change for the better because they feel the necessity to become more mature. They demanded a good example for children. This is why they are willing without being asked to leave their bad habits.

Research conducted by the University of Oregon Stage examined 200 men aged 12-31 years who were classified at risk of having destructive behavior. They monitored the volunteers each year for 19 years, to see how the intake of alcohol and tobacco changing with age.

Published in the Journal of Marriage and Family, the study found men in their 20s and early 30s when being a father showed a greater reduction in consumption of cigarettes and alcohol.

"Being a father alone can be a transformative experience for a man. This makes the opportunity for wives who want to change the bad habits of her husband as a good father because they are willing to do anything for their children," said Professor David Kerr, author of the study.
